I can't get this to let me post you a PM so I wanted to say I am TOTALLY embarrassed that I did not acknowledge your package with seeds in it earlier-----I JUST found it!! My DH had picked up mail, he thought it was empty and threw the envelope to the side.....I was cleaning off the counter in the shop and found the envelope, NOT OPENED, and asked why he hadn't brought it to the house, he replied it was empty/he'd thought I'd opened it and didn't pay any attention that it was still sealed.
I am so very sorry......the seeds are greatly appreciated and I will need to visit with you regarding location, planting depth, etc when you can reply back...again, I am very sorry for the lateness in the reply....slinking away with head down......

Not a problem! But it is kind of late to plant them in your area this year.
Plant them like you would a green bean...they are in the same family.
But plant them next spring. I started some in my garden house this year that were seeds from a couple of years ago & got 100% germination on the ones I planted.
Just don't forget that they are going to vine. I don't think they got real long for Sorie/Silly bird but mine get arount 10-12' tall/long and they say they can go 20'...I doubt they will in your area though.

Get you head up & bop that DH with a wet noodle! Big Grin

If you are talking about the Hyachinth bean vine mine got at least 10' but were wrapped aroung the stump so you couldn't tell it. I've got 3 growing up a trellis on my front porch this year and they are about 3' tall now. I think they do very well here.
ladeuce are you the same zone as Denver?
I agree with karen it's to late to plant them here now. YOu will love them.
