Oh, they're gorgeous, but will do major damage to the paint job on the hummer!!!

I started to say peacocks, but the tail didn't look long enough. The ones we have here have tails that drag along behind them. Agree, they are beautiful birds!

I wondered about the damage also. Hope they find another place to sit.

One of my neighbors has peacocks. They are beautiful. When I'm outside at night I can hear them calling....it sounds so tropical, like you're in the jungle. LOL!

Are they wild? So cool to have such beautiful intruders.

Seriously, didn't know they were wild - at least not here, maybe in Carribean. Lucky you!

I would love to have peacocks as well. I have a couple people who come to the garden center who drop off feathers from their peacocks. This one lady was telling me they are extremely territorial...beautiful too...but boisterous. They like to roost on the top of her house vs their pen. One day, One day I will be back on the farm and I shall have some peacocks and those cute little Silkies/Chickens.

and in berkly mi, a pea-hen has taken up residence at a local house..they thought she might be a "run-away" from the near by detroit zoo, but didn't seem to be banded...the zoo said they don't restrain their birds (and they are banded), just offer shelter from the snow, and food so they usually stay put...

we have a duck couple every year, but daisy showed up with 3 donalds, at the feeder overflow, but have left with the recent snows...
