I went in there this am. and they had 6pks. of wave petunias for $4.00 reg, 7.98
While I walked aruond a girl told me to talk to the manager about marking them down.
I ask the cashier if she could mark them down more. Oh no they've already been marked
down.
So I ask is that your manager out there. Yes. So I ask her and she marked them down to
$2.50!!! They had lots of things marked down but I'm not buying any perennials till I see
if we are moving.
Thanks ga.Karen

Some of my waves came up in my cobblestone cracks again & I dug them out before DH made the rounds pulling out what he thinks is weeds! So I planted the little one ~ two inch plants in my pots & some are now starting to bloom! Those were free! LOL Look for them next Spring & you may find seedlings too!

silly bird.. i too hope you are safe from the fires. thanks muddy for noticing and commenting. we have lots of wild fires in CA but not usually close to urban areas. i've been seeing people on the news as they try to evacuate.. and have to breathe that smoke. i can't imagine anything more frightening. get out if you sense it is time.. don't wait till everyone has to and the roads are clogged. prayers coming your way for safety for you and everyone else!

one news report said flames were two miles high. that sounds impossible.. did i fall asleep and dream that.. or did i really hear it.

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. We live in Denver and have had smoke from time to time and it's hard on DH with his lungs (COPD). DD lives in Colo. Springs but on the East side thank G. We were out of town for 12 days and that helped.
Funny you would mention it Muddy because I did have plants (Petunias) coming up in two buckets and transplanted them into my tipsy pots.
I had Alyssium (MS)in them and when I got home they were full of those little flea beetles (I guess) another plant I won't be getting.I've had trouble with it before!!
Bana yes there is always good info on here.
I also understand about the mind!!!
