"I can't believe that yard dog didn't chase me down the fence again. He must be sleeping on the job. Back later for more."

Hope you enjoyed your snack little fella!

What a cutie and so is the story line. I wondered what he was eating...so it's a mushroom. Did he pluck it out of the garden, or did you put it out for him?

I love critter pix..........thank you.

Mr. Squirrel picked his own big fat mushroom. By the time I grabbed the camera, he was down to the stem already!

I didn't know they liked them either and was surprised.

love squirrels.. love squirrel pictures. you were real handy with the camera to get as much as you did. and they do eat strange things.. saw a squirrel once eating a long dandelion leaf. that surprised me. and another time, one was stealing my prayer flags, one at a time, to make her nest. the flags were old and tattered and needed replacing so i didn't mind. i don't want to post a picture here & hijack your thread. maybe i'll start a 'squirrels' thread that anyone can post to.

LOL...very cute!

Have you ever seen one of those Corn Spinners? You put a piece of corn on it and when the squirrel grabs it the whole thing spins around. It's hysterical to watch and the squirrel seems to enjoy the ride.

Now that I think about it, I must be easy to amuse. Big Grin

Good picture Beau's Rose. Squirrels are fun to watch especially when they tease the dogs.

What a great picture! I didn't know skwirls eat mushrooms either!!!
I was very upset when the skwirls stole the ant bait thingys I put out last year. The skwirl owes me a couple of dollars.....:-(
I don't like them because they steal all the food in the birdfeeders meant for my birdies (& dig holes all over the backyard)

TFS, Cute pictures. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have believed my eyes yesterday when I saw a squirrel sitting on the garage roof eating a mushroom.
