Anchor a Portable Shed Sign In/Join
posted
Hello Guys,

Portable sheds, especially those made of aluminum or other light materials, often need to be anchored into the ground to prevent movement in high winds. Some wooden, portable sheds are also anchored, although in many cases the weight of the shed and its contents will hold it in place. There are many options to anchor a shed, but all basically involve setting some fastener in the ground and securing it to the shed floor or walls. Many metal shed kits come with anchors or recommendations for anchors to use.

Thanks and Regards
Dabney Walker

"I'd rather anchor mine into concrete! Works just fine!"

ga.karen, Did you use a big or small boat anchor? and wasn't the concrete kind of hard to hook it on to?

Sure hope OP gets back to me soon, I am just so confused now. (perhaps they can "shed" some light on this dilemma)Wink
