Did a lot of renovating in my garden this year and some last year altho there is still a lot to do next spring. However the weeds and self-seeders are under control for now. Quite a few spaces which will be filled when I move many perennials and maybe buy some more!

Here's my 2012 garden slideshow.

Joy, thank you for the lovely garden tour. Simply beautiful........and a whole lot of hard work showing. I really like how you have your gardens "arranged".

Thanks Karen and VE for the nice comments. It's definitely a work in progress but this year all the work felt very rewarding. I love mulch but had never had enough til this year! Hoping it makes a real difference in the amount of weeding that needs to be done.

Just what I needed on this dark, dreary day here in Virginia. Beautiful. I love the Walker's Catmint & the delphiniums are breathtaking! Your oval bed is a favorite also! Good rewarding work!

Thanks bana, Patty Louise, muddyshoes, and silly bird. I feel the mulch really makes it look better and hopefully the weeding time will be less.
