I just bought several huge Elephant Ear bulbs, but I don't know how deep to plant them. How much dirt should there be on top of them? I need to get them into the ground soon. Thanks!
You don't need to plant them deeply...just plant the bulb below the soil surface. If it already has a big growing spike (several inches), it's ok to leave this above the soil. I hope to plant mine today, too. Sometimes I start them potted in the house sooner but I've been too busy.

Tilly..I don't know what zone you are in..placing that in your signature line is always helpful to us when answering your inquires...Jvelo is correct ..just plant below the soil..also depending on your zone..like me..where I am a hot summer 8B zone...my Elephant Ears benefit from me planting them in morning sun and afternoon shade...they seem to burn if too much not afternoon sun and they like the soil a bit moist..I am forever watering the ones in my hot back gardens..just thought I'd share that bit of info with ya...goodluck...Jeanne
