    Since it's a vine do I remove the old flowers or just let it go?

    Any plant benefits from dead heading spent flowers..because if not..they will utilize energy to create seedheads..wouldn't you rather they spend all that energy making beautiful flowers instead?..I dead head alot of my flowers when piddling out in my gardens..especially my Clematis and Roses..Hope this helps...Jeanne

    Thanks Jeanne. I dead head everything, but I am kinda new to the vine world. Your beautiful photos inspired me and I now have my sixth clematis.
