No idea but they are colorful. Are they eating your plants?

Great shots Muddy.

Your first little one is a common skipper butterfly. There are several varieties of them and they just flit along in gardens. Most people hardly notice them because they aren't colorful.

I have no clue what that long legged thing is.....looks like some sort of mutant grasshopper.

Cool bugs, Muddy.

I don't have pretty ones. But, I do have stink bugs in my tropical hibiscus. My brother gave me the plant this spring as he was just tired of it. It's out in the front yard now, getting morning sun & afternoon shade. The other day, I noticed little bugs in the new growth. Discovered they were stink bugs. Nasty little 'stinkers'. I'm out there every day spraying them with soapy water. So far, I'm keeping up with them but I'm afraid they're going to destroy my hibiscus. We had a little rain today & it rinsed off the plant & the smell. The whole plant smelled bad from the bugs. Bleah. Mad
