What does VOC stand for, flat interior paint should be used in which room, what is a good paint for outdoor concrete porches,and what type of paint should be used for iron or linked chain fences? Thanks.

I would never use flat interior paint in any room. Don't like the looks of it, and it's not very durable when you try to wash walls.

I like an eggshell or satin finish. It's more dureable than flat, doesn't show as much imperfections as with semi-gloss.
