I know TMS, we have experienced the same anguish, we watch a show and then it never comes on again. Or the show is in 3 parts but we have not seen the 1st. part or the 2nd.
Hey! I think that is the ploy of HGTV to keep you watching.
Doubt,it is a moot point, it just means that we have to be in the right place at the right time to watch the show.
I was able to watch the video on the energy saving bulbs and picked up some info. When time permits, I'm going to go back and watch the other videos to see if anything is mentioned.
I've always had a really hard time with fluorescent bulbs. I know that there are a lot of different ones available now but when I look at the displays in the stores I just get massively confused.
I was also glad to hear in the clip that a lot of new lighting developments are coming with LEDs.
All in all, very useful info and I thank you!

I got a chance to go back and read more today. Lots of talk about mercury in CFL's but after reading this I feel using CFL's will benefit us more in saving energy not just on our bills but just as much for our planet.
Quote/ WORD ABOUT MERCURY All compact fluorescents contain trace amounts of mercury, a harmful substance. Although the bulbs contain far less mercury than other household items, care needs to be taken to prevent breakage. Also, when CFLs burn out, they should be recycled. Trivia I ran across some time ago - The mercury in a fluorescent light is less than the mercury that would be released by burning coal to get that same amount of light from a conventional bulb. So the environment comes out ahead.
WalMart has a remarkable selection of fluorescent bulbs. They even have bulbs with the tiny bases you need in a chandalier.
