    Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to find information/quality ratings on shower head filters for removing chlorine (mainly) and other contaminants.

Consumer reports hasn't done anything on these, just drinking water filters and I'm not finding anything on the web.

Does anyone have information about these or know of a good website that does?

Any info will be appreciated! Thanks!

Smile I am not positive, but think I saw the same shower heads "plural" you are talking about at Home Depot and Lowes. It is expensive but does have a filter. Good Luck Smile and let me know if I am wrong. My favorite hang out Smile those two stores. If I had it to do over again I would have been a contractor. Smile Big Grin

I have only seen one style at Whole Foods and my little local health food store...I too am looking for more information or selection. I need a new one anyhow as my current is only utilizing about 60% of its outflow holes.... Cool

    Shower Filter Options...

Hmmm hard to evaluate...the huge more expenive aquasana filter says it does 10000 gallons and the little one 15000....more research necessary to evaluate....

We had one from homedepot which was about $18 I think, their cheapest one. It cleared up my dandruff and dry skin. The only thing is it's really only good for a regular shower head. I like the shower wand type head and after a couple of months the filter broke from the stress of picking up and putting back the shower wand. Now I want to buy the one that has the filter in the handle but they are quite expensive.
