State and local law enforcement agencies are again partnering with the U S Drug Enforcement Administration to collect and properly dispose of unused and expired medications, this Saturday. Collection sites and times should be available on your city/county/state website.

Much better idea than tossing it in the trash or flushing it. Wink

Just an additional note...some pharmacies will take them all during the year. Most are incinerated. This keeps them both out of drug abusers hands & out of our water systems.
Some water systems will cure LOTS of illnesses due to the amounts of drugs that have been flushed!...or they can hamper other meds people are taking!!!

Meds, Rx and OTC, should be incinerated - never tossed in the trash or down the toilet.
The next Fed sponsored collection will be in the spring - urge your local gov't agencies to participate.

Our sheriff's substation has a collection point inside it year round. Just walk in and drop them into the opening to the receptacle and they handle it from there.
