We're looking for a home warranty for our home and rental. Any recommendations? We're in VA.

It's my understanding "home warranty" insurance is only available on homes at time of purchase. Or, are you inquiring about renters insurance?

Have to agree that I am confused as well. Are you talking a home you have recently purchased or a rental or both? Please post back with more information - think everyone here would like to help but can't with the limited info available.

If you are looking for home insurance check out Brethern as they have an add on policy that protects you from breakdown damage .They covered my well pump and my refrigerator and paid for them .Add on to my policy is only 42 dollars a year .I have stainless steel appliances and they paid for everything minus deductable .They are out of Maryland .Well pump alone was over 2 thousand dollars and fridge was close to 2 thousand dollars .
