Yesterday I closed on my new condo (retirement quad houses where I won't have to do anything outside).
On the 20th of this month I close on my home where I lived with my late husband. It was on the market for 6 mos.
Now to get the house I'm in now cleared out and staged so it can go on the market. Hope it sells fast so I won't have a house pmt. anymore.

I don't mind coming to work. But that 8 hr. wait to go home is a drag.

Sounds like your plan is going well, good but slow. Usually too slow for most of us!

So glad you closed the country home. That was one of your concerns wasn't it? Congratulations on everything.

Well, I tried to respond last night but they didn't like a word I used. Hoping it was going to be posted this morning but I guess not.
Meischa, no real plan. I moved near my daughter that had health problems after my husband died and I couldn't take care of the 22 acre farm. Then 3 mos. ago she up and got married on me and they want to get a bigger house. So I didn't want to be left "behind" so I found a house in the "over 55" community where my twin sister lives.
Meto, yes, I am glad the farm house is sold. Having 22 acres meant 20% down and not everyone could do it even though they wanted it.
REL, IF I were younger I would probably consider keeping all three properties and renting 2 but at my age I don't want all the headache.
Now to get this house staged and on the market and sold so I can get back to only 1 house.
