i can't believe the Steel Magnolia House is for sale! I would just DIE to own that house!!!!
do any of you recognize movie in the listing photos, especially the kitchen photos and the scene where shelby (roberts) and her mom (field) are arguing about her getting pregnant??
I loved that movie - not sure you can get that price if the market is depressed in that area - but you never know. I have had buyers buy because the huge oak in the backyard reminded them of their childhood!!

That is one gorgeous house! I don't say this too often but I love the way it's decorated (most B&B's are a bit too fussy for me) but in this one it's nearly perfect. The only thing I may change is the pink striped wallpaper in that one bedroom - other than that it's SO well done. Is it just me or does it look a lot different than it did in the movie?
it's funny you ask if the house looks different -- i watched the movie last night and the pink striped wallpaper that you'd change is the same exact wallpaper that was in the movie (it's shelby's room! "pink is my signature color".....the other parts of the house look the same to me (especially the kitchen area)
