The ads are getting to blatant. Doesn't HGTV police this anymore?

Right there with you, metwo. It's getting pretty annoying that legitimate posts are grabbed by the computer for some "word" the computer doesn't understand and, yet, obvious mis-use of the message board is tolerated by the administrators who, I guess, aren't on duty very often except to annoy those of us who sincerely submit posts only to see them go into cyber space ~ never to see the light of day again. Mad

I reported the thread to which you were referring ~ hope everyone else does as well. Perhaps if it gets enough "hits" ~ the administration moderators might actually get back to work? Don't hold your breath... Censored

Yep, I reported it also! I noticed a couple of weeks ago a blatant advertising post that was reported many times and the only way it disappeared - well meaning posters quit posting to it and it has somewhat faded away. Mad

Of course I had to go see what you guys were talking about and found it right away.

I sure miss the good old days when these boards were just hopping with legitimate posters.

I think all the human moderators are gone from the boards. If you look around the only postings I've seen by HGTV Admins lately was the notification we can go to Pinterest to post thing.

Are we doomed?

Doomed is such a strong word...... Now that I know who to go to in Saudi Arabia, and I know great condos in Miami - I think I'm just becoming the real estate expert.... Smile.. We could come up with new services (make them up) that would at least entertain us while we crawl through those other silly posts..
