Spanish RevivalChicken Wings
I've been making Buffalo style chicken wings it seems for ever! It was something all the kids would agree was good and they actually all ate them. I used to fry them, now I've found that just baking them is just as good... 400 degree oven for about 45 minutes and they're good to go and so much easier. I also brine them in salted water for about 6 hours before cooking, it gives them flavor through and through.

CA LoriI like to sauce them up either with a teriyaki or BBQ sauce of some kind. The recipes I've found for making chicken wings, all say to do them in the oven so I've never fried them.
That said, if anyone here has a delicious recipe to share, I'd appreciate it. The recipes I've made have only been so-so, nothing to rave about.

Sue MILori, the one I used to use was a package of good seasons italian dressing mix, 1/2 cup hot sauce and a stick of butter. It was pretty spicy but good. Sue

Spanish RevivalOooh, Lori, if you like them on the sweeter side there is a product called Iron Chef General Tso's Sauce and Glaze. It's on the sweet side but it goes really well with the chicken wings. You can find it in the BBQ sauce and Ketchup section. Just cook the wings then drizzle this sauce over them and toss to fully coat.

LinderhofWe're fans of the original Buffalo wings (DD lived in Buffalo for 3 years) -- and we bake the wings as well (or grill them) for we didn't want to mess with the grease of frying them!
It's Frank's hot sauce and melted butter and then a dash of Worchester. And for some reason, it has to be Franks!
