Do outside holiday lights fade over time? I hung up the outside lights yesterday and they seem to be faded. They were a light blue, but now they don't look that blue. Is it common for colored outside lights to fade over time? I want to buy new brighter lights on sale after the holidays!

Yes I think so, especially the older minibulbs. We once used to have blue icicle lights all along our gutters. I noticed every year they were randomly less blue, as the coloring on the bulbs faded to white.

The LED lights I think may not do this as much.
