Charming, you saying the FA discussion made you queasy... Ok I'll throw it out for discussion..
What if anything have our posters eaten, either by accident or design that was really...icky?

I'll start..
When I was in high school one of my frequent after school snacks was a tuna salad sandwich. I would make the salad, then have a couple of sandwiches.
One day while I was sitting, eating the sandwich and watching tv, I said to myself, "gee this tuna tastes different."
Naturally after finishing that sandwich I made and ate a SECOND one..

After I finished, as I was cleaning the kitchen, and tossing out the can, I saw I had used cat food..

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgak

Life is GOOD!!

I'll NEVER eat "seared" salmon/tuna/fish of any sort ever again. I promise. Scout's honor. So help me G0d!

I'm picky about sausage. I want real meat in my sausage...preferably beef or pork or a combination. I do not want poultry in any sausage/sandwich meat/weiner/etc. 1st husband was a truck driver and you just don't want to know...

Many sausages (chorizo) have salivary glands in them. NO THANKS! Tried it once. Tasted fairly decent. Then found it in the grocery store and read the ingredients. Never again!

Oh, Kathy, the smell alone for cat food...Frown

When I was a child, I bit into a fried chicken heart at my grandmother's house. I had no idea what it was, but the texture was so horrible that I spit it out immediately. I learned early in life that I don't like organ meat.

Another thread reminded me that I do NOT like Tuna Melts.

I'd forgotten about Tuna Melts. A few years back, while out with friends, I was trying to expand my horizons and ordered a Tuna Melt. I had never had one. I thought I was going to throw up right there in the restaurant.

Cat food....oh nooo! LOL! That makes me queasy just reading it. Yuck

When we first met DH wanted to try canned octopus of all things...he made the whole house stink cooking it.
And once I wanted to be adventurous and buy some new cheeses to try. One had such an "aroma" that I had to wrap it twice and throw it away. Then I had to get it out of the garbage and put it in the garbage OUTSIDE! LOL!
