Farmer's Market cherry tomatoes, halved; a shower of garden basil; a sprinkle of sea salt and a good grind of pepper and a pour of olive oil. Let it sit on the counter while you grill the steak. Perfect.

I found heirloom cherry tomatoes at my store. They are beautiful colors and taste so sweet. I dress them similarly to yours, but I also add cucumber. Sometimes as meal rather than a side, I add a little feta, too...Delish!!!

We had them yesterday served on slices of home-grown tomatoes. You're right, they are delicious.

I bought some regular heirloom tomatoes last week and had some of the BEST tomato sandwiches I've had in years.

Just add fresh (not low-moisture) mozzarella (bufalo, if you can get it)and you've got Caprese salad. Toss in cooked linguine, with another healthy swig of olive oil, and you've got a meal.

That's what we eat all summer long.

Yesterday's lunch was the leftovers of the salad (with the addition of another tomato!) and pasta and Parm -- wonderful! Easy quick and healthy!
