In my last msg., I tried to get the "green toothy grin" which is available in the Happy Face button and it didn't appear. I'll try it again now

Nope, it didn't work again. Does it work for you?

Shhh ,Everyone is having to enter the code to create them. The buttons on top of the reply box haven't worked since they updated the boards. Here is a picture of the codes.

oooooooooo...thanks for those codes! I love the little emoticons because what you type sometimes doesn't come across the way you mean it because you can't hear the tone of voice or facial expression.

Know what I mean? Wink Razz Wave

The smilies are the least of it.
What grinds my gears most is that the right click menu only works hit and miss, so that cutting, copying, or pasting works ... like for URLs or recipes. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Thx, still trying, but that's a nuisance to remember what the code is for a certain emoticon. I wonder why we can't just click on it anymore!

Well, I am with all of you - seems like admin/TPTB should have been able to fix it by now...

But, in the meantime, thanks to "still tryin", I have this to say: Wink

Weather has been great in these parts Smile although it's been very unstable Roll Eyes and the wind has been fierce Mad

Lost a few of our "35 year architectural shingles" Confused along with some trees and branches Cry Nothing to do but go inside and have some Coffee Ice Cream :cookies: and, of course, some Donut Yummy Big Grin Razz:

Guess I should just be quiet - Shhh or I will embarrass myself Red Face:

Oh, well, this might get censored Censored but who knows? Maybe someone in admin will actually see it and correct the problem - we can only hope!

Until then, Wave and Group Hug

No stars for admin - No Star - lots of stars for the people who post here Star Star Star Lots of good things here with lots of good people but the administration needs to stop taking us posters for granted AND FIX THESE BOARDS!

ETA: Well, most of the emoticons worked except for the cookies one - think anyone in admin has noticed????

I noticed the boards just haven't been looking right. I thought it was my computer. Everything is sort of squished to the left and the layout just doens't look right. Going to try an emoticon right now.

Well, I tried for the Yuk one since I think it is so cute but it didn't appear. Now I need a sad one:
