I made an Apricot Pie on Sunday but we didn't eat it. I sure would like to serve it to my Mexican Train group on Thursday, but I don't know the best way (if there is one) to do this.
Should I stick the pie in the freezer and thaw it Thursday morning or should I just leave it in the fridge and hope it's still good by Thursday?
Whatever I do, I thought maybe I should warm it in the oven before serving and top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. What would you do?
I would be inclined to freeze it until Thurs morning and then warm as you seem inclined to do.
Sounds yummy with the ice cream!
I'd be inclined to eat it NOW with TWO scoops of ice cream per slice!!!!!!
Me, too, sms. This is taking a lot of willpower on my part! Freezing it is! Thank you all.
I'd freeze as well -- the crust would get really soggy in the fridge.

Curious...what's a Mexican Train group? Learning Spanish?
It's a game played with a set of Double Twelve Dominoes. It's addictive! If you want to know more, I'm sure you can google it.
