i plan to use my rival roaster to do the turkey, as i do every year. but i've lost the manuel somewhere, and i absolutely cannot remember how long and at what temp to cook it. does anybody know?? i just thought about this today. help!! Eek

I would look up the Rival website and follow the directions to the place on the site where they put directions for such things. I'd be very surprised if you couldn't find what you're looking for there.

Ill go look at mine in the garage...its a Betty Crocker but I would think they would be about the same.....I know a turkey will be "falling off the bone"I just LOVE my roaster...I always cut up onions,celery and carrots to place the turkey on...keeps it up out of grease....ok my chart is printed right on my roaster..375degrees and 13-18 minutes per pound.Just resist the urge to keep opening roaster..its like a giant crock pot...when you can wiggle the drumstick around pretty good.its close to done..like I said,falls off the bone.

While these large roasters are sometimes difficult to store, they do come in handy when one is serving a large crowd. When my dear MIL died, we donated the two she had to her sister's church and they were elated as they use them a lot.

thx, pippi--i've used it lots of times for queso for parties. and also for cooking my t-day turkey. thank you mandy!!! i do remember to mix up a little butter and kitchen bouquet to help it brown. it'll look kinda pale if you don't do that.
