My husband hates to eat leftovers and I just have not learned how to take one meat and make 3 different things out of it. I will start really pulling from the freezer next week and want to make meals a little different. Just one little thing can make a meal completely different. Last night I added onion rings to a frozen meal of meat loaf and mashed potato and it worked. Tomorrow I will make pretzels with honey mustard as an appetizer. Anyone have any thoughts of things I can make that will be a little different to add to a routine meal.

Leftover chicken or pork are good in salads, esp with fresh strawberries or other fruit added.

Casseroles, lasagna, enchiladas, burritos, & pot pies are foods that I make enough to freeze. That way we have something the family thinks it's "new" whether it is or not.
Would that work for you? |
