Every year I make the chocolate/white pinwheel cookies. You roll out the white dough, then you roll out the chocolate. Just try to get the chocolate on top of the white and roll the whole mess up!
This year I put press n seal in a brownie pan, pressed the white layer of dough in the pan with my fingers. I chilled that in the freezer while I prepared the chocolate dough. I tried patting the choc dough on top of the white, but it didn't work very well. I took pieces of the choc dough and made little "play dough" type patties and placed it on the white dough till it was covered.
I spread the chocolate around with a table knife, then rolled the whole thing up in the press n seal and chilled. It worked much better for me than rolling each piece of dough. No dirty pan, rolling pin, or dough board to wash!
