I have a smoothie recipe to make tomorrow that calls for frozen strawberries in syrup and I have 16oz of plain frozen strawberries. How to I convert my berries to berries in syrup? Thanks

Check the bag or box and see if sugar is listed. If not thaw and put some sugar on them and let set awhile. Good luck wish I was there!

You can make simple syrup (recipe linked below) which when cooled can be added your smoothie mixture.

After strawberries are thawed, there will be strawberries in juice. Just add sugar to strawberries/juice make it syrup-y.

Or, add just the thawed strawberries and sweeten the entire smoothie to taste.
