How do you make yours? The trick my mom taught me was the use Chocolate Fudge Jello cook and serve pudding, then right after you remove it from heat add a teaspoon of vanilla and a TB of butter. That's for the fuller pie recipe. It's so good.

Jov, I'm not sure what you mean when you say "for the fuller pie recipe." Do you mean "richer" perhaps?

When I make my Chocolate Pie, I use the 6-oz box for my 10" pie plate, and I believe I use a little less milk. My DD has taken over making the holiday pies, so I haven't made on in a long time. I've never added any vanilla or butter but maybe I should give that a try.

I'd never heard of adding the vanilla and butter but I sure will do it. DH adores chocolate pie.. he likes me to add finely crushed pecans while its still hot and let them set up in it as it cools.. thx for the vanilla n butter tip.

On the box there is a recipe for a "fuller pie" where you use two boxes of pudding and 3 1/2 cups of milk. This would be instead of just one box of pudding. I always make a 9-10" pie.
