CA LoriI always buy the canned Ortega Mild Chiles. They are not hot! What's the recipe?

KeepYouInStitchesI buy them frequently and think some brands may be labeled "mild," etc. If you don't want hot, just make certain to buy the "mild."

still tryinThey are mild unless they were grown in New Mexico. They are also known as Anaheim chiles because Emilio Ortega brought the the seeds to Anaheim, California from New Mexico in the early 1900's. That's Anaheim as in Disneyland. The cultivars in New Mexico are hotter because people in that state prefer the peppers hotter. Don't be fooled when you read fire roasted on the label as it has nothing to do with the heat. Here is a link to Ortega brand chiles.
