Organic Apple Cider has so many health benefits, it's really worth a try for high Blood Pressure, Joint Pain, Yeast Infections of toe nails or finger nails and so many other ailments. It must be the Organic ACV because it has properties in it the regular grocery store brands don't. I have no interests or ownership in any of the products mentioned, just having used it with great benefits I thought I would pass this along... also good for good bone mass.

Thanks for posting!
In the last 20 years, I have always had a bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar (organic/health food store type) in my refrigerator.

The regular/cheaper white vinegar, I buy by the gallon. It still gets used for any cleaning/laundry chore, but just not ingested.

We've been using Braggs for over 30 years. We have their book, too.

It's great stuff.

Ok, so we're still growing old. It's not the Fountain of Youth. But, The Husband is 76 years old, still works fulltime as a walking mail carrier in town, has no health issues, no meds, etc.

So, maybe it is the Fountain of Youth....

Smile

For drinking, we use:

1/3 cup Braggs raw apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup raw, unpasteurized honey

Mix in the bottom of a 1/2 gallon container, then fill the container with water.

Drink straight, or if too strong for taste, add more water in the glass.

AS AN ALTERNATIVE:

Mix the same amount of honey and vinegar in a quart jar. This makes it much stronger, and in need of dilution. BUT, it's easy to dilute to taste in a glass, and it takes up less room in the refrig.

With it more concentrated, put a few sprinkles on veggies or salads, as well.

This is ALSO an ELECTROLYTE drink. In the summer, it does an amazing job of keeping me strong when I'm outside working. I sip it the entire time I'm out, as does The Husband. Eliminates that exhaustion that follows working outside.

We like several glasses per day in summer, a little less in winter since we're not losing electrolytes through sweating.

I understand you CAN just sip the vinegar in a glass. Some sweeten it with stevia. BUT, I've NOT read anything about THAT being an electrolyte replacement.

I also know folks who get burning tummies from this. So, use common sense and good judgment.

The dosing for treating an ailment... arthritis, eczema, osteoporosis, yeast/fungal infections and many others is 6 Tablespoons per day and the best way to enhance the properties is to use it with RAW, ORGANIC honey as Indexlady mentioned. The only thing I want to caution about is drinking it straight up... it's very acidic and can be corrosive... in other words drinking it straight without dilution of 8 oz. of water per 2T of ACV can cause esophageal cancer, and that carries with it a very poor diagnosis. It's a safe treatment for many ailments but it does have to been taken correctly. It's great as a salad dressing with olive oil or the oil of your choice. On of my daughters has had a persistent infection for years and was treated with prescription medications which would clear it for a while but it always returned... she's been on this (the capsules) and has not had the infection return. It's some good stuff!! If your inclined to use it, make sure you get the organic!!

Apple cider vinegar is great, however lemon juice has nearly the same acidity levels if you prefer. During the summer I drink a lot of lemon water (tablespoon or so in a glass, no sugar or sweetener) as it is very refreshing and keeps allergy symptoms at bay.

And lemon also detoxifies the liver!

Dang. Hope my liver doesn't need any detoxifying anytime soon, because lemon juice (and apple cider vinegar) aggravates the heck out of my acid reflex problem. Too bad 'cause I love the taste of fresh lemons and apple cider vinegar.
