I did buy a 'pod' to put my own ground coffee in, but the gounds always get in the brew and I can only drink 3/4 of the cup...soooooo am I grinding too much or not enuf>!>!>>>???

I use a coffee press, and if the coffee is ground too fine, it will sift through the holes in the screen. I have not used one of the refillable pods but I am thinking perhaps your coffee may be needed to be a courser grind.

Seems to work for me, if I have finer ground beans (from a package) to mix them with some coarser ground (that I grind) and it helps to filter better.

Do you pack it well? Also there is a screw top that go on the pod. Are you putting that on top of the pod before brewing? The grinds should not come out with that top screwed on tight.
