Am finalizing the menu for our "4th on the 3rd" party. DH says there will be no room on grill, so I need to come up with a plan to do ahead. I'd like to do roasted new potatoes-halved/quartered, seasoned with oil, rosemary and onion. I could do latein the morning of party, but how to reheat- in oven, grill? And don't want them to be overly done. Will this work? Thanks!!

Do them in the oven in the house.

If you want to make ahead, I would do them about half way and then finish in the oven. I would not cook entirely and reheat.

You could make them in a crock pot.

These aren't the same -- but they're similar -- potatoes anna that I made for company -- with herbs -- tender in the middle -- crunchy on top and bottom and herby -- served in wedges.
