We are...sort of.
We're having Christmas Eve on Saturday & Christmas Day on Sunday to accommodate work schedules. Everyone usually arrives the night before. So I guess it will be a celebration on the 21st.
We'll have to give that some thought.

Its a Friday. I'm burning a vacation day that day. So it will be exercise in the morning. No specific plans for the evening.

Over the years, my co-worker and I started celebrating these kinds of dates beginning with 5/5/55 (when we worked together) and then 6/6/66, 7/7/77, etc., etc.(after we had married). During those year-dates, several of the other lady friends in our group requested to join us on our little one-day excursions. We had lots of fun. Probably our last excursion was around 9/9/99.

We won't be around for the next one in 01/01/2101!

I hadn't even thought about it. Someone said the only reason the Mayan calendar stopped was because they ran out of rock. LOL

LOL! I had similar thoughts myself. Or maybe the maker of the calendar died in a freak accident. Or....

Not to sound like an old grouch-okay, so maybe I do. But I don't even acknowledge silliness like that. Including Y2K....so it will be just another Dec day to me.

Rather silly stuff isn't it?! People can really get sucked in to stupidity to believe in or worry about things like this.

Except...hen I leave work that afternoon, I won't return until the 31st...what with holiday and vacation...I'm truly planning on enjoying my Christmas!
