Apparently there are 10 ways to eat an OREO cookie. My DD found it on line. I said: "There's Only ONE WAY to eat it, are you kidding?"
How do you eat it?! Yummy

You made me chuckle. I've been known to eat oreos in every way there is--including one bite! My daughter and one of her facebook pals had a conversation during Hurricane Isaac about which Oreo is preferable as part of your storm preparation package. They settled on regular. (And, by the way, these are women in their 40's having this conversation!!!)

LOL Use-ta eat 'em...separated the cookies, licked the filling, dunked it half in milk, then scarfed them down.

I don't care for them any more. Weird huh? I'd rather have homemade.

I'm not fond of eating greasy frosting, so if I must eat an Oreo, it's only mint filled and I eat it as is.

Never liked Oreos. In fact, I don't care for most packaged cookies.

I like Walmarts double stuff Oreo knockoffs better than the real Oreos. I pull it apart, eat the 1/2 w/o filling (1 bite), lick the filling off before eating the other 1/2 (1 bite also). No milk dunk'n for me Smile

I only do doublestuff ones but I eat them QUICK, so DH doesn't see I have them & want half! I eat them as is in 3 bites...I like to savor the flavor!
But I'd much rather have some of my homemade chocolate chip cookies.

I like Trader Joe's version of Oreo's better than Oreos--Joes-Joes.

Always with milk. And dunking is always involved.

Sometimes dunk the whole thing and eat in one bite. Sometimes separate, eat most of the filling, push the wafers back together with the remaining filling, and dunk.

Because I rarely buy cookies, less often Oreos: stuff one in my mouth and chew as quickly as possible to make room for another one

I'd eat Oreo's but I really don't like the sugary white center....so why waste valuable cookie calories? Cookie
If there are no good homemade cookies available, I'd prefer Fig Newtons. LOL!

Why did they stop making Lemon Coolers. Those were the best cookies ever.

I see many of you all eat them differently. Listen honies, most of my OREO days are behind me. I always buy them for my lil DD (she's 19 now, weighs 105 & loves cookies!!!) I have to force myself not to steal one or two or three or four or five (luv em) Everyone has had a past love of OREOS I don't care what ya'll say NOW!!!
I open them up, lick off the icing and then proceed to eat up the rest of the cookie. My sister had the same remark as me (there's only ONE way!) and eats it the same way! I love those double stuff, or the mint, or the chocolate..... or the.... diet time!!!
According to the way I eat them, I am curious and I like to take things apart! I like to take food apart and examine it (like burritos, wraps, anything!)They were right about me!
My DD likes dunking them in milk or tea. According to the analysis, she has an addictive personality and could be addicted to narcotics. NOT!!!!! (i should have cut & pasted the ans. on the way you eat the cookies, that was the bet part!)

Hello All,
I found the Sugar Free Oreos. Anyway I dunk the whole cookie in my coffee and pop the whole thing in my mouth as someone said eat it as quickly as possible to make room for the next one I have already dunked. I find, however, that they impair my weight loss goals and have had to quit buying them.

It's 2 oreo (Double stuff) cookies here each night for my treat.

Break the top cookie off and eat that first...you know save the best for last.

Then one bite for me and the one bite for DDoggie waiting patiently.

Haven't had an Oreo in ages, but post made me think of a jingle they once had... maybe back in 70's... "a kid'll eat the middle of an orea first, and save the chocolate cookie outside for last".

This is a fun thread.

Oreos are my husbands favorite cookies, so they are usually around. I don't like them that much so I don't eat them very much. (I prefer vanilla as a flavor over chocolate) If I do get a hankering for one, I separate the two halves, scrape the frosting into the trash and then eat the plain outsides. (can't stand that frosting-ish stuff) I never dunk them.

My golden loves Oreos but we give her only a bite or so, depending on how generous I'm feeling. There isn't enough pure chocolate in one Oreo to harm a 65# dog. It's the sugar and carbs we have to be careful of.
