Our very good friends are leaving for the winter to their Florida home on Tues (they have already vot ed) and we are giving them a farewell dinner.

The menu is:

pre-dinner; drinks of choice, shrimp cocktail, Havarti cheese, Jack cheese, crackers.

Main course:
Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, Foccacia with
rosemary oil.

Dessert: banana splits.

It is also the wife's b.d. next week so she and I always exchange lots of small inexpensive gifts (except that she always knits me a pair of socks!) Now if I only could find one of her main presents!
