WHOA!! You can tell this taste test was conducted in the "way up there north." http://www.cooksillustrated.co...ults.asp?docid=10047 It's the only one we buy and have used others in restaurants that we just don't care for the taste...or after-taste. There's nothing like a shake or two of Tabasco on a saltine cracker, a serving of scrambled eggs, peas...or a 1/2 teaspoon in a pot of chili. My husband sprinkles it on his fried catfish. It doesn't take much of this potent fire to season food. And, unlike the tasters opinion, it DOES have flavor! Just try it on that saltine!! I usually buy Texas Pete but I don't like it on crackers or anything - I just use it to put a few drops of heat when cooking. I bought a bottle of Sriracha sauce, but because it is a squeeze bottle I tend to add too much!

It DOES have flavor and if you read about the making of it it is really interesting. We like real Tabasco as well. And we always have some in the pantry . . . DH COULD use it on everything! Martha

We like Tiger Sauce for our brand of hot sauce. It has just a little kick to it not overwhelming. The boys (DH & Dson) get a 2# tub of smoked fish dip from our local fish market for their BD treat. Of course the crackers must be those captain wafers and a dash of tiger. They love it! ~Like sands through the hourglass ~So are the days of our lives ![]()
