I made this recipe last night for a dinner party and it was absolutely delicious. Even the non-vegetable eaters liked it. I omitted the salt and pepper because it tasted so good without them. I used a mandoline to shave the shallots and brussels sprouts and I grated the garlic.

I would like this!

At first, DH would eat them...but now does not. Does not matter who prepares them or how they are prepared. He told me that he never really liked them. He's also lost his taste for cabbage although when I "fry" it, he will eat a small amount.

I found a recipe for a brussel sprout salad with blue cheese and glazed pecans which has made believers out of more than one "hater"!!!

This looks like a good recipe. I think sprouts have a bad rap because of the way they've been cooked -- boiling them for a long period of time removing any flavor that they might have.

Martha, I could never stand the smell of brussels sprouts cooking which is why I never ate them, but these didn't have that sour smell.
