Starbucks, Peets, Panama Bay, Mr. Caffino--I don't care where I get them--they are all delicious (Peets being my favorite, only because our Panama Bay closed Frown)

I recently purchased a pkg of Folgers French Vanilla Cappuccino mix. It wasn't very good, but definitely better than Hills Bros. French Vanilla Cappuccino, which was undrinkable (DH bought that one).

The best mix was one that I purchased at the Dollar Tree. It was a Mocha mix. The container had 5 individual packets (not sure if it was a Maxwell House product), but that one was definitely the best I have found so far to make at home.

Just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions. (I'm almost convinced that I'm not going to like any of these packaged mixes, no matter what brand I try . . . but I keep hoping!)

One thing I've discovered is to buy espresso granules and add some to the mixes. Gives it some body. None of them really taste like coffee though, but can be pleasant enough if doctored up a bit. I even add leftover brewed coffee if I have it. Try Seattle's Best # 5, Dark Roast, and Bridgstone Roast. We used to buy Peets all the time but switched to the Seattle's Best. We also order from Hammerhead Roasters in Bellingham, Washington sometimes. We get their Whatcom Dark.
