Hi everyone...I don't think I used enough certo in my jam it is still quite runny...can I take it all out of the bottles and add more certo...would that fix the problem ?...

I don't see why not. Except that I would try it with just one to be sure it works and so you have an idea of how much more certo you need to add.

I have found that freezer jam is never as firm as canned jam.
|

It is very important to use ALL of the sugar called for and to stir the mixture sufficiently. It may not get as firm as other types of jam, but it should be just fine if you make it as directed. I have always loved the freezer jam I've made because doing jam that way is the BEST way I know to come up with the best flavor - BUT, as I said, it is important to follow the directions carefully AND to use top quality fruit!

That reminds me I have Peach Freezer Jam in my freezer yet from probably 2002...........don't think it's still good yet do you?!?!?!!
