Finally you pulled out the cast iron! My dad would've sent your fried eggs back though...I think you busted the yolk on all of them. Shame...shame...shame! Of course the only time the dog got an egg...was when the yolk got busted!

Thought you might enjoy this:

Sherry - one of the car companies has a commercial out with a English Bulldog (I think) that ate the key fob with that song in the background. So funny! Interesting - no one else in the family got the point of the commercial.

Our dogs don't get people food. I worry with our older dogs about the amount of protein they are getting. Protein is tough on their kidneys.

When we have omelets, I increase the number and usually separate the yolks from "at least" half of the eggs. We eat the extra whites and the dogs get the extra yolks.
Good for their coats, and as long as they can handle the extra fat/calories, they don't process cholesterol the same as humans. Win Win for all!

Charming, I've seen the commercial and 'got it' immediately. Big Grin

My dogs way back when were husband's redbone hounds. They were hunting dogs and needed the extra protein. MOF husband would buy the "saw dust" from the local fresh meat market and cook it for his hounds on a weekly basis to supplement their dry feed.

(I don't do inside dogs.)
