Just made some rolls and the center rose up to a cone shape. Did I roll them too tight or too loose?

Hmmm...not sure. I think a taste test is required before a well-thought answer would be forth-coming. Big Grin

(Probably rolled too tight. No room to expand side-to-side to they had to go up.)

Agree...maybe too tight or more than likely too close together. They need to expand/raise in one direction or another.

Sherry -- I would love to share a roll with you, otherwise I'm afraid I'll eat them all myself! (I just ate one while watching a segment on "60 Minutes" about how bad sugar is for you.)

Conrad -- I never considered "too close together". That might be it. Guess I need to make another batch to test the theory.

Thank you both.

Northeast Texas to Nashville - about 8 hours and 40 minutes. Add time for "gotta go" and ice tea breaks.
I should be there in time for breakfast!
Start working on batch #2!
Hitchhikers along the way must wave sign saying "Cinnamon Rolls or Bust!"
Wink
