When I used to add it to pet foods, I got mine in the vitamin section of Walmart. Cheaper there than at drug stores or grocery stores (if they carry it).

It really depends on where you live. It is not carried in traditional grocery stores where I live. It's only at the various health food stores.
It's one of those foods that are given to pets but is great for humans, too. So flavor is important. They do taste differently. Even your dogs might prefer one brand over another.
After much experimenting with brands and bulk, we prefer KAL brand Nutritional Yeast flakes.
Brewers yeast can mean different things to different people. I just call it nutritional yeast flakes.
Great on popcorn. Like cheese popcorn. But not all brands have that cheesey flavor. Are you thinking mac and cheese? Yep but it does take some getting used to. Better to just add a few flakes to your fav existing recipe.
I know, it's for your pets. But it's also good for people. .This message has been edited. Last edited by: Indexlady,
