LOVE this! But all my cookbooks would be too heavy. Good for recipe cards though. Smile

Necessity is the Mother of Invention as they say. I do something similar. I often stick my recipe cards inside the kitchen cabinet door molding to read it at eye level. I noticed this lady has flat front cabinetry tho. This idea, tho creative/resourceful indeed wouldn't work for heavy/thick books, but pages or cards would be ideal.

I recently buckled down and inserted my recipes in clear, archival sleeves (thanks Staples!) inside ringed binders. I have THREE thick binders so far and the only thing I have left to do is to create a Table of Contents tho catergories are divided already. Since I have hundreds of recipes compiled via the Net, friends, family and newspapers/magazines, this task took me HOURS/DAYS to complete. I now can easily access my recipes and not worry about splattering on them. BTW, they were filed back to back. I highly recommend anyone with a similar stash of recipes does this. It's something I can hand down to my DS and DIL. I got this idea from my DIL who has done this for a few years now. I had recipe pile envy till I finished this project myself.

Great idea but I don't have knobs on my cabinets! I just tape them on the door front!

I usually hang a recipe on my fridge with a magnetic clip. The fridge is close to my working area.

That's clever. I'm like Jo-CT and tape them to the cabinet, especially if I'm making several different ones at the same time.
