Help! I hope that this is not in violation of any board policies.

I want to payback someone who helped me with a project. I am looking for the name of a good Mexican food restaurant in the Dallas,TX area. (actually near Flower Mound).

Can anyone help?

Don't know the area, but I'd look up any recommendations on yelp and see what they say.

Trip Advisor has great restaurant ratings. I think it's tripadvisor.com, then look for the city you want and then restaurants. It rates restaurants 1 to ever how many -- we've found some great places that we probably wouldn't have went to when we were in strange cities on trip advisor.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not familiar with those sites. When I simply googled it, all that came up were chain restaurants.

Don't see any violation of the rules here ~ actually, it's a good use of the board to ask for advice from around the country which is one of the reasons why all of us come here ~ to get some ideas on things we don't know on our own!

I agree with Linderhof about tripadvisor.com. I'm a member and use it often when we are traveling. Have also heard good things about YELP but have no personal experience with them. Have fun choosing one!

I just tried to get a gift card and have it sent o the lady who helped me, but they will not process credit cards over the phone.

So back to square one. I can send a check but was hoping to do it faster. Thanks again for the advice!
