I LOVE Hawian style chicken. For years I have tried many different Hawian marinades.None that I have really loved.I just used Lawrys Hawian marinade.Let set for 30 minutes, then used my cast iron grill pan.It is raining so I cant use the grill.UGH!!Lets say this turned out more blacken chicken.I did used crushed pineapple this time.I usully do use pineapple rings thou.Had corn on the cob and steak cut into stips also.It ISNT what I have ate in resturants and never tastes good. So do you have a tried and true Hawian chicken recipe??Please help.LOL

I had a recipe many years ago for chicken legs and they cooked in the oven for 1 hour. 350degrees. I know it was 1/2 cup of oil, 1/4 c soy sauce, 1 can of pinepple tidbits 1/4 cup of cherries. 1/4 cup apple vinegar, 1/4 cup of ketchup and 1/4 c sugar. Sprinkle 1/4 tsp garlic, salt, pepper and chili powder on the ketchup mix all together and cover the chicken legs with sauce and cook covered for 1/2 the time and uncovered the rest. I think I always browned it a bit under the broiler just before serving if it hadn't browned up in the oven. This was always a good way to make chicken legs a hit with the family since it was not their fav. This message has been edited. Do you mean Huli-huli chicken? Google it and you'll find recipes. Taste Of Home mag had the recipe (saw at my MIL's) and now I'm trying to find that on-line.
