Well, I've been seeing a lot of references to the fact that the HGTV emoticans haven't worked in a long while, including a thread on this forum which has escaped my memory - someone was asking how to get them to work? So, I've posted the key in the Pet Forum for anyone interested....

Thanks, Idaho, I only knew how to create the happy face with a colon and a closing parenthesis. It's nice to know how to create the others.

But in the past, all we had to do here was to click on the desired emoticon and it would appear. I don't know what's happened to change that.

I wanted to try one from your list that I can remember :P

Oh oh, what did I do wrong, it didn't work!



OIC, it is a lower case p. My first attempt was with an upper case P.
