My dog's food was in this mess and I can't get it from Amazon anymore. Free 2 day shipping on 35 lb bag gone. It's been a month and they have not restocked. I swear I think these companies issue recalls just so that can write it off their taxes and collect insurance for it. Gee, none of it tested positive, but let's yank it anyway. Never mind the dogs that have been eating it for years and are now waiting for the day when they can have it again.

Sandra, what food do you feed your babies? I got a bag of Taste of the Wild at work and thankfully the supplier took it back and we got a full refund. Thirty six bags went back

the dog food wasn't making dogs sick but humans were getting salmonella from the food if they didn't wash their hands after handling it. I think last count was somewhere around 30 people getting sick. Luckily no deaths tho.

Unfortunately, the recall was for food from a previous batch we bought for our dogs. I first received a call from Costco giving the dates on the bags included in the recall. About a week or so later we received a letter from Costco about the recall.

why not order it from Amazon? I get free 2 day shipping and don't pay sales tax. I WAS feeding them Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul dry dog food. It's not sold in stores. I've been using it for years. By the time this recall came out, my guys were over half finished with what I bought and the bag was gone.
