ginger & cat?? Sign In/Join
During spring/summer, started a planter of fresh ginger. Broke up a hand of it and just tucked into soil. It sprouted and became an interesting house plant. Knew it had to come indoors when weather started to get a bit frosty.

Cat has shown some interest in it. She's not attacking it like it was catnip, but has occasionally been chewing on leaves... not really eating it.

Should I be concerned?

Its new, its interesting, and its in her territory. Of course she is checking it out.

Ginger is not toxic to cats. I just googled it. There's nothing to worry about.
