We have a food/video/craft-a-thon every year about this time. A little earlier this year cuz of other obligations. Brought 13 yo niece over on Saturday. She "sorta" saw June (the kitten) in October... she was VERY shy and hid in the smallest places.

Told her to just ignore her when we came in. Heard her bell on collar jingling about half hour after coming home. By the time we finished totally messing up kitchen and settled in on couch, June was getting curious. Within about another hour, she was up in her lap purring!

She became the 4-legged alarm clock after our sleep-over by climbimg all over both of us at around 8 in the morning. Have discovered, when a cat wants you UP... you get up!!

Aww, that sounds so sweet, Chairlady! Wink I love to hear a cat purring~

Don't feel bad about having "alarm clocks"!lol Both of ours figured out long ago that climbing all over us in the morning would make us get up...especially when licking our faces and lying across our necks!

Gosh...we are so well trained by these two! Razz I did actually have to let Lola know that 4am was WAY too early for mommy & daddy. She finally got the idea after neither of us would wake up to feed her.

Callie will ALWAYS wake me up if SHE feels that I have slept long enough...stinker!! Razz
