This latest pet food recall is for both Iams and Eukanuba cat and dog dry foods. Initial info is it's due to salmonella contamination, my local news reports it is in kibble with a November 2014 sell by date.

From what I read there have been no cases of any animal being harmed. Apparently the potential turned up in routine testing.

Thank you for posting the pet recall information. I have 4 cats, don't give them Iams or the other one. I feed them Fancy Feast canned food, and Purina dry food.
